Green mobility with DGH
In August DGH brings out the heavy artillery to create an appetite for green mobility. The bicycle campaign from May will now be followed up by a series of events to promote sustainable transportation and to get the local citizens to choose the bike over the car whenever possible. The final meeting of PRO.MOTION will take place in September 2010 at the university of Liechtenstein. At the same time the university of Liechtenstein arranges a late summer conference in order to present the main results of PRO.MOTION. Transport Day in Trnava
The aim of the transport day was to familiarize the children with basic rules of the road traffic law, basic equipment rental, specific kinds of transport and their influence on the environment, practice of their skills on the bike ride at the transport playground. Children got reflective tape on hand, as the passive protection of cyclists in poor visibilityand cards with the logo of the project.
The transport day was for students third grade of elementary school. Children were divided into two groups. Each group received theoretical and practical part. On the day of transport, in addition to the project team member also participated in the traffic police, who together ensure that the actual lecture and practical exercises on the field of transport.
Promotion and support similar events builds awareness of how best to use energy-efficient vehicles and offers excellent conditions for their further development.
